How much snow is there?
At 1100M La Clusaz snow record has to be phenomenal. And it is. Year in year out our guests enjoy unbeatable conditions.
But of course there can be an off week from time to time, and when this comes about La Clusaz has its force of snow cannons dotted around its numerous pistes that guarantees good connections to each area. At worst La Clusaz has had 90% of its runs open. Impressive.
Why not check out the webcams here. Snow forecast here.
How close to the piste and La Clusaz is the chalet?
Chalet le Panoramic has a lot of cards in its favour, one trump is its location:
The chalet is situated on the principal piste, yes that means ski in ski out! ~ It is also just a snowball’s throw away from the village, with wonderful panoramic views of the who village and mountain range!
Check out these lovely pictures here.
How do i go about ski lessons?
We are more than happy to organize any lessons for you. Snowlife has used the local International Ski School for 15 years who have consistently had guests up on the slopes in under a week!!
Want to book? Drop us a line here.
Is the chalet good for beginners?
Yet is is perfect ~ there is a nursery slope just below the chalet but if you would rather be higher up at 1800m then there is the wonderful mountain of Bearegard - a beginner’s delight as it is a plateau. Usually after day two you can ski to the bottom of the Beauregard lift and until then we will drive you to it at the beginning of the day!
Go ski!
What should I bring to the chalet?
Don’t forget:
-
Swimming costumes and towels for the hot tub!
-
Good warm socks!
-
Spirit bottle contribution for the bar!

Where’s best to hire my skis?
Leave it to us! Again we’ve been using the same shop for 15 years…..Sport Boutique. They offer high quality equipment and an amazing 25% off for Chalet le Panoramic guests. Not only this but we’ll run you down to the shop to get you fitted out and return your skis for you at the end of the week!
Where’s good to eat and drink?
Please spend a mo’ reading our own personal guide to what’s good in and around La Clusaz here
What do we expect from Snowlife?
Please glance through our services here.
How many does the chalet sleep?
The chalet has 30 beds which is quite often filled with a mixture of adults and children. If it is an adult only group then 22 adults is a great number. If you are booking the whole chalet then 28 is great ~ you don’t have to fill all 30 beds.

If we ski on the last day can we leave our luggage somewhere?
Yes of course! We will keep valuables in the chalet and store the luggage in the boot-room for you. Unfortunately as the chalet is usually full each week then we cannot offer you a bathroom for after skiing but obviously if we do have one free then we will!
Do you collect us from the airport and which airport should we fly into?
Transfers to and from Geneva are included in the price. If you do need to fly into another airport then please contact us here and we will get a quote for you from a local taxi service!
