Pedestrian discovery card
This card is valid on 6 different ski lifts (return trip) for a 6-day period: the Balme, Fernuy and Beauregard gondola lifts, the Crêt du Merle chairlift, the Merle + Loup chairlifts and the Combe des Juments chairlift, where walkers can enjoy magnificent views, great walks and access to some fantastic resturants.
Walking and snowshoe trails
For the more serious walker we have 35 km of tracks for snowshoes and pedestrians on the Confins and Beauregard areas. A map is sold at the Tourist Office at 2 euros and snowshoes can be found in the boot room.
Open air ice rink
1000 m2 open air ice rink is located in the village centre (which is covered in the event of rain). Great great fun for all the family. (Skates on hire at the venue).
Aqua Centre
You and the family can enjoy a truly unique swimming pool, sauna, hammam, gym and sunbedding experience at the La Clusaz Aqua Centre!
Situated just above the heart of the village, the centre boasts an indoor section with pool, paddling pool, fountain, Jacuzzi. Outside and overlooking the piste’s and mountain range are fun water shoots and an outdoor pool, (Water: 29° C), which is ingeniously linked from the indoor pool.
Quite an experience; having a dip in the open air pool, amongst such wonderful winter views!
Annecy
If you fancy a day trip we couldn’t recommend anything more than this gorgeous medieval town, set between snow-capped mountains and resting beside a huge, beautiful clear water lake.
Annecy, also known as the ‘French Venice’, with its meandering paths running through the charming old town festooned with streams that find their way to the magnificent lake is a wonderful place for the whole family and explores of; culture, gourmet, fine food and wines, walks, nature, shopping and sport. Annecy is a perfect blend of the cosmopolitan and traditional, effortlessly diverse from the bustling town to the serenity of nature. ~ It can all be found quite easily here.
Annecy makes for an ideal day trip. With an abundance of interesting places to visit and exciting things to do whatever your choice; the connoisseur of culture or the die hard shopaholic! Annecy is just a short and inexpensive bus ride from La Clusaz.
Quad/snowmobile outings!
Learn how to drive these vehicles and take part in guided rides for adults and children. You can even take courses to learn how to drive these vehicles for professional use or prior to purchasing one. Enclosed circuit for groups, families and seminars.
Horse and cart rides
Discover La Clusaz at a horses pace! A wonderful tour around the village (4 people maximum).
Guided tours
You can visit the village accompanied by heritage guides and discover the history, traditions and legends of our winter and summer resort. (Length: 2 hours).

Chapels
La Clusaz includes several chapels by site:
- Fernuy chapel, built in 1738, is located at the Fernuy
- Ste Anne chapel, built in 1650, is located at the Col des Aravis
- Parc chapel, built in 1631, is located at the village entry
- The Var chapel, built in 1676, is located at the Var
- Gotty chapel, built in 1691, is located at the Gotty
- the Confins chapel, built in 1834, is located at Les Confins
Wellbeing
When the resort becomes a source of wellness, equilibrium, relaxation, peace and tranquillity! It’s all here: Body treatments, osteopathy, massages, ayurvedic treatments, reflexology, yoga, saunas, steam rooms, weight lifting, beauty treatments (with mountain plants from les fermes de Marie in Megève). Again, we can happily point you in the right direction.
Not to mention…
The resort’s events organization committee announces sports, cultural and recreational programs weekly. A program for the week is available in the Tourist Office and shops. Ski shows and torch light descents, street entertainment and slope side activities, every season, the Tourist Office creates a new programme filled with surprises. More than a hundred performers and artistes come to entertain the resort’s visitors.
There are hours of shopping to look forward to in the resort’s 76 shops. Naturally we also have everything you would expect at home; dry-cleaner’s, pharmacy, newsagent, souvenir shops, post office, banks, medical services, transport, various craftsmen, library, bridge club, cinema, aqua centre, (deep breath!) and market (get to know all the local specialities: Reblochon, Savoy ham, Aravis liqueur!).
